I am a Greek-born filmmaker who moved to London to study and work, spending seven years immersed in the British film and television industry.
I come from a family of creatives, fell in love with cinema early, and that love has shaped everything since.
My debut short film, All Rise, travelled to festivals around the world, winning the Global Peace Award at the Hague International Film Festival, the Social Impact Award at the Activist Without Borders Film Festival, and Audience Choice, Best Screenplay and Best Actress at the 24 Kare Film Festival. It was also an Official Selection at BUFF, a BAFTA-qualifying short film festival.
Alongside my own films, I've directed music videos for independent artists and built a body of work across experimental and narrative filmmaking.
I'm currently based between London and Athens, open to new collaborations across the UK, Greece, the United States and internationally — always looking for the next story worth telling.
Selected Experience
Nefeli has worked with BAFTA-winning production companies and contributed to MAMA Youth Project, the BAFTA and RTS award-winning charity dedicated to opening doors for people from diverse backgrounds in film and television. Her credits include work on a major Apple TV+ series, a feature film and over ten short film productions across the UK and Greece.
